Dr. Diane Milhan is a certified acupuncturist licensed by the NJ State Medical Examining Board.  Acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and improve its functioning.  This practice is done by inserting thin needles into specific body points to improve health and well-being.  It helps to alleviate arthritis pain, headaches, migraines, asthma, smoking, increase fertility, and much more.  This holistic, ancient form of Chinese medicine is designed to balance your energy (chi) and stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities.  Dr. Milhan has clinical experiences with many positive results in treating various pain syndromes including acute and chronic neck pain, upper shoulder pain, elbow pain, low back and sciatic pain, dysmenorrheal, headaches, allergy, asthma, stress relief, gynecological disorders, skin conditions, smoking cessation, and weight loss.  She uses not only acupuncture, but may use cupping techniques , gua sha (a scraping technique), moxibustion, microcurrent and ultrasound in a session, as necessary for treatment.
