About Physical Therapy
Dr. Kristi White is a New Jersey State Licensed Physical Therapist and is fully trained and certified to treat every kind of patient – from pediatric to geriatric – and create a program personally customized for each patient based on their specific rehabilitation needs. It is his goal to return you to full activity!
Our patients include individuals with disabling conditions such as, but not limited to, neck and low-back pain, arthritis, pre-and post-surgical rehabilitation, heart disease, fractures, and orthopedic injuries, as well as those who have sustained injuries due to an accident. Dr. White has treated a variety of injuries some of which including post-surgical, joint replacements, sports injuries, TMJ dysfunction, neurological disorders including vertigo, peripheral neuropathy, and gait abnormalities, as well as sprains and strains in the spine and extremities. Dr. White has a wide range of conditions she treats. Dr. Kristi White is also thoroughly skilled at treating pediatric conditions such as torticollis and plagiocephaly. Dr. Kristi White believes that a combination of exercising, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, modalities, and a positive attitude can assist in the healing of all injuries.
Dr. White also uses other modalities, such as electrical stimulation, hot packs or cold compresses, and ultrasound to relieve pain and reduce swelling. Dr. White also helps to teach her patients how to use adaptive devices, such as crutches, wheelchairs, and prostheses. She will also show patients exercises to do at home to expedite their recovery.
